OOoh! yet another well spent day wif him. we decided to go fishin at bedok jetty.its been quite some time. thank goodness its not raining like the other time we went der. as usual, we will buy food for our picnic. nooo, its not sandwich with egg-mayo stuffs (makanan mcm gitu kita tak main la). I met him at his place. I was equipped with my samurai fishing rod which i sling it on my back and all the other necessary fishing equipments into my weaved orange bag. we make our way to parkway parade (we begin to fall in love wif that place). we went to GIANT and bought hefty stuffs such as drinks, titbits, mini muffins & twisted choco peanut donut and even durians! yesss, durians! the stinky smelly fruit but when savoured - MMmmz! delicious! then, we went to buy our "main course" at a nearby hawker. found out there's a malay stall that i used to patronise when i was living in Hillview. the makcik n pakcik still look the same but i doubt they recognize me. But the pakcik cooking style is still the same-lah (with the big fire thingy and knocking noise of kuali ). He bought the fried beef rice from the couple and i bought mamak-style mee hoon goreng from tis classic indian stall (very the 80s). there's a pasar-malam near the area so we decided to check it out. We bought lekor (till now i dun noe how to pronounce it correctly). ok.. just imagine all those food juz for 2 ppl. haha! LOL Now we are ready to head down bedok jetty.
We used to take bus and walk all the way to bedok jetty from east coast mac (back wen we're in poly days). but now we juz ride on nikita. oh dear! we're gettin pampered n at the same time -LAZY! we set out our tent at the jetty. thankfully no hook gets stuck on it. once settled down, we juz chilled, eat, fished, sleep, eat. i guess it was not our day as we didnt catch any fish (zul tak mandi gaknye.. hehe). he get a good shut-eye coz he was working nite shift. its nice to see your love one sound asleep. he just look so peaceful. so that explain loads of self potrait pictures.. hehe. i'll guess i end it here for now. enjoy the pics :->
